Short version
Floor Plan Magic sets no tracking or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent. We only store what the site needs to work.
What we store in your browser
- Login session (local storage): keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary.
- Support chat (local storage, from PostHog): only after you click "Chat with us", a random chat session ID. After you start a conversation, also the ticket ID, whether the chat is open, and the name or email you enter, so you can continue your conversation. Nothing is stored before you open the chat.
- Interface preferences (one sidebar cookie and a few local storage entries, such as gallery view, recent prompts and a plan you picked before signing up): remember your choices. They never leave your browser.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics and error reports, through our own domain. It runs cookieless: it keeps its data in memory for the current page visit only and stores nothing in your browser. The support chat, also from PostHog, is the one exception (see above). When you are signed in, events are linked to your account so we can fix problems you run into. Session recording is off.
Third parties
Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages, and Google sets cookies when you use Google sign-in. Those pages are run by them and covered by their policies. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for bots on sign-up and the free demo.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Clearing them signs you out and resets your preferences.

If we start using cookies that need your consent, we will ask for it first and update this page.
